KDP System ("we", "us", or "our") operates tool.kdpsystem.online. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we only collect what we need to run the tool and send the emails you ask for.

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Email lead data: your first name (optional) and email address when you unlock a full report or join a list.
• Audit inputs: book format, marketplace, list price, page count or file size, ad spend, monthly sales, interior type, and trim size. These are used to generate your estimate.
• Attribution data: UTM parameters, referring page, and campaign source so we know which content brought you in.
• Technical data: IP address (used for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser type, device type, and general analytics.
• Local storage: your last audit inputs and lead status are stored in your browser so the tool is easier to use on a return visit.

3. How we use your data

• To generate your profit audit and unlock the full report.
• To email the report, a short KDP profit course, and KDP tips you opted in to.
• To improve the tool, fix errors, and understand which content is useful.
• To protect the service against spam, bots, and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases

Where GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for marketing emails and analytics, and on our legitimate interests for security, fraud prevention, and basic product improvement. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

5. Email service provider

We use MailerLite to store subscriber data and send emails. MailerLite processes data on our behalf under its data processing terms. You can review MailerLite's privacy policy on its website. We do not sell or rent your email address.

6. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic and conversions. Google may set cookies and process data according to its own policies. We also use Cloudflare for hosting, security, and bot protection. You can block cookies in your browser; the calculator will still work.

7. Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the tool: Cloudflare (hosting and security), MailerLite (email), Google Analytics (analytics), and payment providers if you buy a paid product. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights.

8. Retention

We keep lead data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained according to the provider's settings. Security logs are kept only as long as needed to investigate abuse.

9. Your rights

10. International transfers

Our service providers may process data in the United States, the European Union, or other countries. Where required, they use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. Children

The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the latest version. Material changes will be communicated by email where appropriate.
